Habakkuk 2: 2- "Write the vision, and make it plain upon the tables, that he may run that reads it."

Proverbs 29:18 - "Where there is no vision the people perish."

Local Church

Psalms 127:1 - "Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain, that build it."

Families establish homes and watchmen guard cities. Pastors and leadership establish local churches. But, without God as the head, all of these ministries are worthless. The Local Church was established by God to equip people. Without the people there cannot be a local church! Without the Local Church there cannot be other ministries raised up.

Hebrews 10 25 (NIV) - "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing. But let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching."

Hebrews 10: 25 (KJV) - "Do not forsake the assembly of the brethren."

Equipping The Saints

Ephesians 4 - "Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry." This needs to be the first to the Local Church, then to the Body of Christ. To equip people to find out what ministry God has for them: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.

Unity

Psalms 133 - "Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in Unity."

Ephesians 4: 3 - "Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one spirit. Unity builds working relationships for Kingdom purposes. There is neither Jew nor Greek. We are all in the Body."

Evangelism

Street, prison, nursing homes, seminars, TV and radio. Ephesians 5 "Be imitators of God."

Ephesians 3: 8 - "Although I am less then the least of God's people, this grace was given to me, to preach to the gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ."

II Timothy 4: 2 - "Preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season."

Matthew 22: 9 - "Go to the highways, go to the street corners and invite to the banquet 'anyone' you find."

Intercessory Prayer

The foundation of the church.

James 5:13 & 15-16 - "Is anyone of you in trouble, let him pray. Is anyone sick, call the elders of the church to pray. Is anyone sick, call the elders of the church to pray, and the prayer offered in faith will make tyhe sick person well, therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed."

Missions

To support missionary work and to send forth members of this Local Church into the mission field.

Matthew 9:38 - "Send out workers into His harvest field."

Luke 10: 2 - "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few, therefore send out workers into the harvest field."

John 4: 35 - paraphrased Go forth into the ripened field for they are white unto harvest, the time of reaping is at hand, for the souls of men to be gathered in.

Revelation 14:15 - "The time to reap has come for the harvest of the earth is ripe."

Counseling & Training Center

Proverbs 11:14 - "In the multitude of counsel, there is wisdom."

Premarital, financial, career, abuse, chemical and support groups.
